Research & technical background
The thermal-fluid research behind the engineering work
Engineering capability grounded in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, CFD, numerical modelling and microgravity experimentation, with industrial and applied R&D experience.
Doctoral research
PhD research at Aix-Marseille University focused on coupled fluid flow and heat transfer in sessile-drop evaporation under microgravity. The work included a 3D numerical model implemented in COMSOL and quantitative comparison with experimental campaigns.
Microgravity experimentation
Research activities included interpretation and modelling connected with sounding-rocket experiments funded by ESA and parabolic-flight experiments supported by ESA and CNES, together with experimental preparation, technical recommendations and progress reporting.
ESA and CNES are referenced in the research context. They are not presented as ALTWHIZ commercial clients.
Numerical modelling & CFD
Core technical themes include fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, numerical modelling, CFD and multiphysics analysis. The emphasis is on using models to understand mechanisms, validate hypotheses and guide design decisions.
Industrial engineering
Earlier industrial experience includes Design & Engineering work in the petrochemical sector, engineering modification projects, technical drawings and recommendations, and line-stress analysis around pumps, air-fin coolers and heat exchangers.
